Woman Missing for Three Weeks Calls Home
A woman who was reported missing almost a month ago has contacted her father to let him know that she is safe. The 27-year old was reported missing three weeks ago, when she failed to contact any of her family members.
Christine Beatrice Turner Hill, 27, was reported missing on December 29, but now has called her father to say that she has been staying with friends
in Pontiac.
Mr. Hill had said he became concerned for his daughter’s safety after she failed to let anyone know where she was going, and then remained out of touch with family members for over three weeks.
Last week, the Free Press and other media outlets were asked by authorities to run the story in the hopes that the public may have information on where the missing woman might be. After the story ran, Christine herself, called home and told her father she was safe.
Harry Hill said that his daughter’s functioning level is similar to that of a teenager, and so he became concerned when she left their home in Canton on Stacy Drive without telling anyone where she was headed.
Hill said to the media that he is relieved to know his daughter is fine and has been staying with friends in Pontiac. Christine was reported missing over three weeks ago, and the ordeal is now over for her family as she has since contacted to say she is fine.
